- Realistic and terrifying—set in today’s political climate. Fiction: perhaps, perhaps not which is what makes it such an intense read. Thought provoking and eye opening novel that grabs you by the throat and shakes none too gently. This is one incredible series. Start with the first “Niki” novel and work your way through, you will be glad you found author Jim Jackson.
~ Lori J, Goodreads Review - There is never a dull moment with Niki Foster/Ashley Pendergast Prescott. This last installment in the Niki Undercover trilogy is no exception. It's non stop action as Niki faces the most challenging threat yet and her involvement is neither sanctioned nor legal.
She's also in a new situation in that she's not on her own but is part of a team of people trying to stop a serious threat. This is not comfortable territory for her. She's used to being in charge and working alone. It makes for some interesting interactions and second guessing on her part. While the story is fiction there are plenty of elements that hit so close to home and current events it’s scary.
